Hey I have a Optiplex 780 sff and I'thou currently looking for a new cpu, which would exist the all-time fitting i?

Specs:
CPU: Cadre 2 Duo E8500 3.16Ghz
GPU: 1050Ti Depression profile Ik information technology's bottle necking the cpu
Ram: 8Gbs of ddr3
PSU: optiplex sff manufactory power supply

And I'yard besides wondering would I demand to change out the libation for the cpu if I went for a Quad Core? If you have whatsoever ideas permit me know!

An updated BIOS is easy on a Dell. Download from Dell support, open up the file, and it will install itself in Windows.

Yeah, but you won't find one. I had the same problem with my first Optiplex SFF years ago. It had the slightly larger 240W PSU, simply had the same 17A +12v rail as yours. It handled my GTX 1050 Ti and 95W i5-2400 fine, so I left information technology similar that. Dell's PSUs are pretty practiced, and I suspect under-rated.

then type in the service tag on the PC (Should be on the height or dorsum) and and so click on Downloads and Drivers on the left.
